Neuropsychological Assessment

Offering Thoughtful, Comprehensive Neuropsychological Assessments

A neuropsychological evaluation can be a crucial step for individuals or parents seeking to understand and address various behavioral, emotional, academic, and learning concerns. I provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments that can identify and diagnose underlying mental health disorders such as ADHD and mood disorders, as well as specific learning disorders such as dyslexia.

My neuropsychological assessments are thorough and tailored to each person’s unique needs and reasons for seeking testing. Depending on the referral question, my reports provide detailed information about an individual’s developmental history, social/emotional/behavioral functioning, learning style, cognitive abilities, and/or academic functioning. My findings are based on careful integration of information gathered from interviews with parents/caregivers, teachers, and other care providers, as well as data collected from my own testing. In each report, I detail a person’s areas of strength and weakness, and offer individualized recommendations for treatment and/or educational planning.

Further, my extensive experience as a psychologist in a public school setting gives me an informed perspective on writing reports used for educational purposes, and allows me to help parents navigate the special education system.
